Our Team Old

We lead out of who we are.

Our essence is in our signature drive and compassion for those in the crucible of leadership.

Jonathan Evans, Vancouver

MA, BEd, BSc, CPCM, ACC

Hey, I’ve found consistent coaching to be the best tool for peak performance in my 20+ years as a leader.

I started work at The University of Waterloo in a BioTech lab, but I needed to engage more with people. I then started working with executives and teams as a ropes course instructor. Since then, I’ve been effective with leaders with a trademark curiosity and drive. My most significant success is unlocking technical leaders with the strategies in navigating people and organizations.

I am recognized for leadership in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside as a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. My MA concentrated in Leadership -“Navigating Change in a Disruptive Culture.” My CPCM provided me with conflict analysis, communications, and public relations tools to serve my clients.

As a certified Birkman consultant in Vancouver, I have a plethora of tools for self-awareness and team-building, conflict resolution and succession planning.

I’ve learned that books and courses inform but leadership is forged in the fire of reflective experience.

I have worked with leaders as an executive director, board chair, college instructor, and coach.

I moved over 20 years ago to Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside to help people experiencing addiction and homelessness. I’ve learned how to unlock growth and overcome barriers in anyone who really wants to reach their limitless potential.

I’ve learned this supporting people:

  • experiencing addiction through treatment,

  • entrepreneurs in start-ups,

  • newcomers to get into the Canadian market,

  • leaders with organizational development,

  • fire survivors in grief,

  • teams through strategic planning

  • workplaces in conflict resolution and workflow management.

  • executives leading complex teams and systems.

You’ll find I’m encouraging, tactful and driven in pursuing your leadership success.
